Hello Everyone,

 

 

Welcome to my brand new shiny website. I am an Alice Springs based photographer, therefore many of my images were taken in Central Australia. Occasionally I do get out and travel, so you will find a variety of images taken around the country. After much encouragement from my close friends I decided to start a photography website and blog. Here you will be able to buy prints, follow my work and join in the fun.

The plan over the next few months is to keep sharing and selling my work, build a photography store, blog about the world of photography and get some photography tours in the pipeline, maybe even a few workshops.

People always ask what sort of photographer I am, my answer, ‘one that likes taking photos’. I really enjoy animals and landscapes, although I have been trying my had at some event and portrait photography and it is a lot of fun.

I have been working hard for the last four months getting the business up and running. There have been many sleepless nights studying and way too many freezing cold early mornings…..in other words I need a good sleep.

I would like to encourage you all to have a good look around the website and visit regularly, as there will be something new and enjoyable for you to view, read or watch weekly.

I have committed to two photography tutorials daily for the last 5 months, therefore my knowledge of photography has sky rocketed this year. I am a big believer that education without purpose is pointless, so I am going to share a lot of what I have learned with you all. Therefore this website is not only for people that like viewing and purchasing photography, but for people that like taking photos and want to learn more about doing it.

I hope that my experience as a photographer can help some of you out there take better photos and come to love photography as much as I do. It has made so aware my surroundings, photographers see the world in a different light (excuse the pun) to most other people. They say that photography is the art of capturing light, I agree and I would add that it also the art of capturing a moment and freezing it forever.
