I am an Australian Fine Art, Travel and Nature Photographer who currently lives in Alice Springs.
Before I started Racheal Christian Photography in July 2015 I worked as a tour guide. For over 13 years I took people on short tours and holidays. During that time I developed a passion for learning about the world around me.
A love for sharing that information grew as I became more educated. I was discovering things about our planet that blew my mind. I always had my camera with me and I used it often. I ran a Facebook Page for tour guides that became quite popular and so did the images I posted to it.
After much encouragement from my followers I decided to become a professional photographer and start selling my images. I have come a long way since then and now call Northern Virginia home in the USA.
When I first started the business I only sold my images within Australia. I was surprised to find that most of the demand for my work was coming from overseas. I searched for a printing company that could ship my work internationally and that had high quality and diverse product options. I was lucky enough to come across Fine Art America (now Pixels.com).
This was the start of my amazing Print Shop which has been incredibly popular. Having experts taking care of your orders allows me to dedicate more of my time creating images. It also gives me time to focus on my Photography Blog .
